Originally they were set up because the men needed a place to meet with their friends and enjoy some leisure time around a table.

The Gourmet Txoko at Ea Astei celebrates the natural elements of its architecture, with large designer tables and natural wood counters merging with the views across the countryside and where our guests can mingle in a spacious area cook the local food and share the best produce, wines and Txakolis of our land.
The Txoko Gourmet is available for small groups of people who want to cook a meal in a peaceful setting, or set up wine tasting, and presentations. We also offer the possibility of hiring renowned chefs working with the best quality local products.
